A little history

Computer Reset was founded in 2000 by Winston Abrams.  As one of Antigua’s first Computer training center, we have introduced computer literacy to more than half the population of Antigua & Barbuda. With God’s direction and provision we have offered affordable, quality training for the past 18 years.  First opened as a computer repair shop, in 2004 we introduced computer sales & training, and then in 2011 we introduced CXC Examinations training as a part of our curriculum.  Computer Reset has grown, by the grace of God, to become a complete computer and network training, sales, service and resource center.

Computer Reset currently offers computer and CXC Examinations Training to the public and has been offering its services to Antigua & Barbuda for the past eighteen years. Computer Reset has also been a beacon in the community in offering community services such as free training to the Police Department, from our inception to now. We have also donated computers and offered our services free of charge to the Prison Services Rehabilitation Center.

Computer Reset has afforded numerous Scholarships to Secondary schools students through various boards and has offered, in the media, numerous scholarships to students on the Island. We operated a charity called, Benevolent Baptist Soup Kitchen & Rescue Mission with our own resources, out of our school, for over four years; feeding and ministering to the homeless and even taking some off the streets and affording them, food, clothing and housing. We currently offer our services and support, free of charge to the Boys Training School; in the form of Computer/Networking service and support, and free computer training to the boys. We have afforded many of the boys scholarships to participate in our Building & Repairing Computer program. Computer Reset also currently provides free Computer & CXC classes to members of the nation's un-employed and job seekers, through the Government's OSEC program - The One Stop Employment Program.

It is no doubt that Computer Reset has done admirable service to Antigua & Barbuda over the past eighteen years. As the first computer center on the Island, we have trained and introduced over half of the Island to computers and computer proficiency.

Mr. Abrams; Computer Reset’s owner and Administrator has recently collaborated with the World Bank through the JEF Small Grant Program to implement an E-waste Center on the Island. Computer Reset matched the United Nations with In-Kind contributions to make the center a reality. Please visit www.antiguabarbudaewastecenter.org for more information.
